Anna Forgách’s video titled Tuning intends to establish a connection between sound materials from Black Box Foundation and her own generation, as she creates an unusual self-portrait in motion picture, listening to the speeches of leading politicians of the regime change between 1988 and 1992. As if we witnessed a video conversation where the character played by the creator patiently watches and quietly comments on the rhetorical performances that shaped our history and accompanied a country’s population through one of the most important turning points of the twentieth century in the hope of a better future. - Krisztina Erdei
